Hello Folks 1972 Dodge 1/2 ton Short bed No Reserve Auction Sold to High Bidder, Must Bid to Win First year for this body style (44 years old ) there is nobetter year to ownas a collector Description Folks, havea very nicefactory original antique classic pickup.1972 Dodge AdventureD 100 short bed1/2 ton pickup. This truck is powered with the original 360 v/8 with dual exhaustandbolted tothe factory3 speed automatic transmission, ower steering, ower brakes.It has the factorydash with the sportgauges, actory aircondition and a black interior and bench seat, hrome front bumper, ear steel step bumper with hitch. This truck has a great and sharp lookingoriginaltan, uck skin exteriorpaint color.It is riding on the original 15 inch steel wheels and factory hub caps.Clean clear title,it has 110,600 miles but only a five digit odometer. Condition This truck came froma local estate saleand was just one of the dodge trucks in the collection.I will giveyou anhonest,accurate and completedescription of what I was told and what I can verifyabout thisrare sporty little truck. Folks, was told this truck came froma westernstatemany years ago.It has avery nice body withalmost no rust anywhere.I will try to tell you and also show youin the pictures. It still has that great patina look.There is a small amount of rust on the passenger side floor board in two locations and they areabout 8 inches square. Frame of truck has no rust and is very nice. AlsoI found no rust on any other part of the cab, ockers cab cornersor thedoors. There is rustunder the left side of the bedin rearat mounting bolt area,very small, t will be in pictures. Thereare some scratches, aint peeling anda few small paint bubbles on the truck in areas. The paint issaid to be the factory original with the exception of many years ago when a small amount of touch up paint workwas done to passenger door andpassenger frontfender because of paint peeling. As for the engine, ransmission and driveline, t is all said to be original and all works very well. The motor runs well, olds great oil pressure with no odd noises or excessive smoking sounds great. The exhaust is showing its age andhas some small holes starting in the pipes.The truck does have great working heat and theair conditioning is completely hooked but, s not cold.The compressor seems good and has a small amount of charge still in system. This truckhas a great dash and has no cracksor damage.All thegauges seem towork, ut temperaturegaugeneedle will bounce. There is no radio, ust blank spot. Steering wheel is cracked and the horn is wired to a push button on the side. Drivers door interior panel does have some damage and is missing chrome adventure trim.The seat does have some blackrepairadhesive on drivers sideseat area, ut still looks and feels good. The flooring is covered with the originalfactory rubber matting and is still in good condition. All the lights work and all the windowglass is good. It also has a rear gun rack. The truck tires hold air and drive fine,butthe front tires have poor tread and some dry cracking; it would be good to replace them.My kids and Ihave been driving this truck a lot and itis a lot of fun. All the pictures were just takenon Friday 1/15/16 As for the winning bidder I can see no reasons that you cannot drive the truck home any distance except for possible front tires.
