Description of 1970 Dodge Challenger

This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. While it's original motor and transmission were blown up years ago, I have replaced it with a completely rebuilt 71 340 motor to like specs and a little more. I have the dyno sheet whichreads 357 Horsepower. Every aspect of this vehicle has been gone through. It is a 4 speed transmission and does have the 3:55 gears in the rear end and also has a Centerforce dual friction clutch. What makes this T/A awesome, is that it is a fender tag coded V02 two tone T/A. It is one of only three that are in the T/A Registry and it is one of one in these colors. It also has the fender tag coded 4 speed transmission in which Mopar only made 949 of. It also has the fender tag coded leather interior which is rare for a T/A. Deluxe seatbelt package and a six way manual drivers seat. This T/A was professionally appraised in 2007 for $125,000. You will not ever see a two tone T/A in these colors. It does have the original fender tag, vin plate and the door vin label is the original one which came on the car. The sheetmetal has all the appropriate vin stampings. I have upgraded the stereo and speaker system. This was a five speaker car originally. Dash has been professionally refinished by just dashes and the interior is legendary leather. Although leather interior only was originally done to just the front seats, I took the liberty of having the rear seat done in the matching leather. There is a theory that these two tone T/A cars had something to do with Sam Posey wanting his original 77 T/A to have a black painted roof. AAR cars were not sold in two tone versions. This is a very rare one of one V02 two tone painted top T/A. It is listed in the T/A AAR website under rare options. It was on the front cover of Mopar Muscle in May of 2007. Truly a collector car which has a great collector car value.
