Great opportunity to get a RUNNING and DRIVING 67 year old American classic you dont see very often. For people that know a WORK OF ART when they see it, don't hesitate.3 DAY AUCTION

-original unmolested ROCK SOLID frame and underside. (Not even a patch done!!)
-original solid usable gas tank

-even (what appears to be) original exhaust...WOW.
Engine ROARED back to life. Idles great..PURRS LIKE A KITTEN. NO smoke and NO hesitation. Comes with a NEW 6 volt battery. Has a generator (Real old school). Car goes into all gears.
Comes with the unique Power-Glide transmission. This is the system that combines clutch-shifting, and handle-shifting to make the car go into gear... Brakes will need work before becoming road worthy, but this is a GREAT PROJECT to drive while you restore.
Will needs a carb rebuild, and we recommend the gas tank be cleaned out as well. Has a few small dings and trim dents in spots
2 (of the 4) hubs on this classic Coronet still have the "L" for "LEFT HAND tighten" and "R for RIGHT HAND tighten" which were found on rims back in the 40's and 50's before everything became Left to Loosen and RIGHT to tighten. Forget the righty-tighty lefty-loosey...2 of the wheels are the opposite on this car.
Interior is good. Has all the trim and some may need replacing. Seats have no holes and was reupholstered along with the interior doors and panels several years ago. The top fabric is intact, but needs a cleaning and a reattached zipper rear window. All bows look good, and needs a tear fixed near the lower back...
Top lifts up and down rather easily. Originally a POWER TOP CAR... Drivers door needs a pin. Unique SEAFOAM BLUE color is nice. It does have some small bubbles by the rear fender and a couple spots with previous work, but overall most everything is original and unmolested. Trunk is overall solid but does have a couple rust-throughs about the size of a 50 cent piece.
Through the years, Dodge has treated the Coronets as one of its most upscale models rivaling the Chargers in the muscle car 1960's and 1970's selling for very high dollar. This is more like a museum piece....You can own one of the.....1ST EVER CORONETS that ever rolled off the assembly line in 1949.
Car is sold as-is, how-is with right to inspect. No warranties expressed or implied. Car is a beautiful 1st year specimen with only minimal rust blemishes for a 67 year old car. $500 deposit at auction end. Balance of payments are due within 3 days of auction end.
