  • Solid sheet metal in floors, trunk, door bottoms, rockers, etc. The only old "filler" repairs I detected are in the lowest part of the quarter panels.
  • All glass is good. All window regulator work.
  • Interior is original. Rugs could use replacement (I may replace them before the sale. If I do, I will adjust my selling price to reflect the new rugs). Headliner and dash are in great condition.
  • Engine: Estimate under 1,000 miles on engine build. Assembled in 2013 using the following: 400 CID block, pistons, crank. 516 Closed Chamber Heads. NEW Performer Manifold. NEW .470 lift Cam. NEW Long tube headers. NEW Electronic ignition. 8MM Accel wires. NEW Milodon Oil Pan.NEW Edelbrock 750 Carb
  • Recent upgrades: NEW K&N 3"x 14" DRY RACING Air Filter. NEW Fuel Pressure Gage. NEW Champion 26", 3 Core Radiator w/ new hoses. Fresh Valvoline VR1 20w50 conventional race oil with Purolater One PL3001 oil filter (May 16, 2016).Engine/Carb were correctly tuned using with Edelbrock #1489 tuning kit.
  • Transmission: Mopar 727 with Hurst Promatic 2 Ratchet Shifter. Shift kit (VERY strong shifts !)
  • Rear: 8 3/4 SURE GRIP (LSD). 410 Gears.
  • Exhaust: Long tube headers into turbo type mufflers with "turn downs". All 3" pipes.
  • Runs on pump gas (premium). No bogs or stumble. No "ping" or knock.
Painted and built about 3 years ago by previous owner. He owned it for 7 years before deciding to build it. Paint/interior is very good for a daily driver with some small chips and hairline scratches but notnoticeablefrom 5 feet away... and it shines up good. While there are some tears, mostly in the driver seat back rest (see pictures), the interior looks pretty good as is. As mentioned, I would change the rugs and may do it before I sell it. The only other thing that I would consider if I was keeping the car is installing new weather stripping (complete kit is $135). I store the car inside and do not take it out in the rain so it is not an issue for me. The interior has a Sun tach and Sun gauges (Oil/Volts/Temp).
The car drives excellent. I cannot stress enough that the car runs and drives excellent. You can drive it to go pick up a quart of milk, then show it at the local car club that evening and race your buddies on the way home. It is a really nice driver and yet... it's a muscle car. It has power steering and manual drum brakes that are adequate. Suspension is solid and the ride is VERY comfortable. There are relatively new air shocks in the rear that take between 25 and 200 pounds of air but I am only running 25 pounds since the car does not require any air shock "lift". It sits perfect on the leak springs. Check out the stance in the pictures. Does NOT ride hard. No idea why the previous owner installed them. The front shocks were replaced as well. The car tracks well at all speeds (highway and local) with no driving issues. No wheel hop on "aggressive" starts. No bog or stumble off idle. Doesn't break up on top end. Passing gear will send you back into your seat. No odors other than that wonderful aroma of old American cars. No leaks. I have a clear Florida Title in hand.
This was an Air Conditioned car. All of the A/C hardware has been removed other than the control buttons on the dash. Original fuel gauge, charge gauge and speedo work. Speedo is off by a lot due to gears! Water temp runs about 160 degrees and oil pressure is about 65+ pounds when cruising (as read on the new Sun gauges). Drive it all day in any temperature. This week has been in the 90's here in Florida and the car still maintains proper temperature.
All exterior lights work. Interior dome works. Dash lights are intermittent. Doors lock. Window regulators work. Two sets of keys.
Tires are essentially new. Were brand new in 2013 and show NO wear or dry rot. They are the largest size that will fit without modification. Front: P245/60R14 Rear: P275/60R15. Wheels are MOPAR but not correct for the car. I like them so they stayed on.
This is a very solid car that you can buy and drive immediately without needing ANY mandatory work. This is not a "show car" but it is a definite "head turner". I never go anywhere without getting "thumbs up" stares or questions. The sound that comes from this car is a magnet for other carenthusiasts... 100% muscle car.
FINE PRINT: PLEASE READ!
PLEASE look over the included photos and ask questions. The pictures of the bottom of the car were taken on the car transporter. The car is located in Fort Myers, Florida. I drive it almost daily. It is stored indoors. The Buy It Now price is very reasonable for this car. If you have been looking then you know that it is. I will entertain realistic offers but I am not in a hurry to sell nor do I need to sell it. I am not interested in trades of any kind.
If you buy the car using "Buy It Now" I require a $500 immediate payment via PayPal. At that point the Ebay sale is over, the car is yours and the $500 is not refundable if the car is not paid in full by you, for any reason, within 7 calendar days of the sale, which starts the day and time that your $500 deposit is received by PayPal. Full payment is required within 7 calendar days (unless an extension is agreed to prior). If not paid in full within 7 calendar days, the $500 deposit is mine, the car will get re-listed and any deals we had are null and void. This is a very reasonable amount of time. I will store the car indoors for you up to 7 additional days after I am paid in full.
If you make an offer that is accepted I will require a $500 deposit immediately and the same conditions apply as with "Buy It Now" stated above.
I will only release the car and title when I have 100% of the funds either in cash or cleared in my personal bank account. Please understand that this car may be listed locally and on other selling sites like Auto Trader Classic and it will cost me plenty of time, money and inconvenience if you "buy" the car on Ebay, pay the deposit, have me remove all of the other ads...and then don't pay the balance for the car or change your mind after the other ads are taken down. That's why the deposit is non-refundable.
If you plan to travel into Fort Myers to see the car I can pick you up and drop you off at the Fort Myers Airport (RSW). If you pay by certified check or cashiers check at that time then the title will be mailed to you after the check clears my bank (Wells Fargo) and, yes, certified checks and cashiers checks may take time to clear. Only then will the car be released to your transporter. The car can be reliably driven locally but with 410 gears I do not recommend driving it cross country... LOL. I can recommend a reliable and reasonably priced transporter. I will do my best to either be present or have a reliable person present when your transporter arrives and report to you that it has been safely loaded including photos. I know from experience that buying a car sight unseen and then requiring transport gives one an insecure feeling in the pit of your stomach but I will work with you and try to make the experience as safe and secure as possible.
I can be contacted by Ebay message, phone or text at any time. My number is (239) 989-1608. Frank
