Description of 1968 Dodge Charger

Greetings! Up for sale is a nice original un-restored 1968 Dodge Charger with original 383 V8 Big Block 727 Auto Sure Grip Axle 3. 23 Ratio. Mostly original paint. I think the drive train is almost all original except the intake manifold and current 4BBl Carburetor. Runs and drives. Starts every time. Carter competition carb runs a bit rough. but I have a nice original factory style AFB for you to rebuild. I Just put in a new gas tank & fuel pump & flushed lines. Brakes rebuilt with new booster and master cylinder. The car stops. steers and handles excellent. I have been driving it around town as-is and people just love looking at an original unrestored 1968 Charger. I believe the trans and engine is original to the car. I just can't get a good look at the back of the engine. Super nice grill. Headlights open and close as designed. Has a very cool 1970's Hurst floor shifter. Brand new tires a few months back. Original wheel covers look great! Frame very solid. This car needs some sheet metal and patches here and there. The frame. cowl and core support is all very solid. Needs: roof skin (roof skin is rusty from vinyl top). some of the trunk floor. trunk vertical extensions. lower quarter patches (one included) Rear lower valance. tail panel & probably sail panels. All the frame metal behind the rear valance is solid. Floors are all solid. just surface flash rust. The undercarriage is all solid. Just a little surface rust here and there. These original big block 1968 Dodge Chargers are getting very hard to find. ORIGINAL: 1. FENDER TAG 2. BUILD SHEET 3. OWNERS MANUAL 4. DASH VIN PLATE      On Nov-22-14 at 20:09:28 PST. seller added the following information:Original A/C car with front buddy seat and rear electric defroster all intact (buddy seat included) has been stored in plastic bag. This car is very complete and original. It has been in a storage unit since 1992. no B. S. I dumped all fluids. pulled plugs and filled the chambers with WD40 for several days. blew it all out. installed fresh ignition parts. gas tank. brake booster. master cyl. full brake system rebuild. trans service and seals. ALL fluids clean and new. Runs and drives nice. but needs a new carb. It's a SUPER COOL car to just drive around as-is. Brand new tires with proper alignment. It took me many years to find a 68 Charger this nice. This would be a relatively easy car to restore. Good luck and thanks for your interest!
