Meet 'Amber'Original Unrestored - Custom Dodge Shorty."Select-Vans" of Orange County. One of a Kind - Painted by the legendary Al Martinez GOLD Paint, Pinstripes, Captains swivel seats, Shag, wood paneling, Ice Box, 8-track, Mags, Mopar Star bubble windows.. The works. Brought to Idaho in 1995 by the original owner. Garaged for 18 years and outside for the past 3. I've got her Freakin' The Streets Again. 318 V8 Automatic - I changed the fluids and she fired right up. I have not spent a lot of time with her and so far have cleaned out the fuel tank and hard lines, I replaced the soft lines and tank filler gaskets, fuel filter, and fuel pump. I have not gotten the fuel gauge or temp gauge to come around although one source said tapping on them can do the trick. (I've tried) After a 30 mile jog at 55mph, The ride is kush and shifting is smooth, lights and signals function properly. Brakes are in great shape. I didnt get the horn or wipers to function and have not looked further into those. I would suggest the standard replacement of hoses and belts, plugs and wires, cap and rotor to make this a daily. This Van is Very straight and greater than 99% rust free. A nice surface patina has formed on the roof. The only rust I can find is the small area where the roof meets the body at each side by the top of the windshield. The drivers door sags a bit. All other doors open and close easily. Included is the ice box, An old lucky rubber under the front floor mat (left for good luck) An NOS Venturi-Vent. The Lower Front Air dam. "Official Girl Watcher" Sun-Shade. (for full effect) And some fun original pieces of paperwork. I dont want to sell this van. But you can own it, if your will is greater than my own.
