Description of 1965 Dodge Dart 270

Note that I do not have the title since NH does not require a title for a car older than 15 years. eBay doesn't have a category for that optionon the pull-down list. The car is registered and inspected. The buyer will be provided with the current registration but not with a title.

I have a 1965 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible for sale. It's a nice ride, registered, inspected, and on the road. The slant 6 goes great. The automatic transmission shifts fine. The odometer shows about 85K and it may be true miles, but I don'thave the title so it's sold "as is, true miles unknown" on the bill of sales. It has a fairly new rebuilt carburetor, power steering pump, starter, exhaust, carpet, and a bunch of other new parts. The silver exterior bodywork and paint looks good. The bottom of one of the doors need a little touch-up because the window belt line trim wasn't installed (I have new belt line trim, but it's not installed). The car has had some metal work but looks pretty clean underneath.
We put a new black top on a few years ago. The power top does go up and down fine. The seats and dash are original but the vinyl was recoated (there are some small tears). I have a color-matched boot that needs to be stitched where the plastic meets the fabric. It needsnew sun visors. The ones that are there flop around so I just removed them, but the hardware is all there. There's a CD/MP3/AUX player mounted under the dash, butit looks like only the radio is working. The under-dash case makes it easy to swap out. I have the original in-dash AM radio.
The car's a fun summer driver. We had a blast with it but we hardly use it. It does blow a little bit of smoke, probably because we rarely drive it. That doesn't slow it down, though it's no speed demon with it's one-barrel carburetor.

It may also need some other minor stuff, but nothing big that I know of. It's not a show car but it is a pretty cool classic at a very reasonable price.

The car has the stock 13" rims and tires but I also have vintage 5-slot 14" wheels and tires that I never mounted. The rims are almost impossible to find with the 4" small-bolt pattern and they'll be included if the car sells at full askingprice. Otherwise I'll sell them separately.

No shipping. Pickup only. I would like prospective buyersto come by and take a look/drive.

Thanks for looking.
