Description of 1989 Dodge Ram 3500

This truck started life as a fire department brush truck so it spent most of it's life stored and maintained indoors. I bought this vehicle directly from he government in the condition it is in now. The truck has the 5. 9l Fuel injected engine and I believe Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear. Also 4 wheel drive works. The truck also has 1 ton heavy duty brakes and suspension. The engine starts right up and runs nicely. I want to note that the truck has never been used as a plow truck! I bought the plow off another ram and installed the frame mounting brackets. The hydraulics and electric still needs to be hooked up but it is all there and included in the sale. Some of the hydraulics may need to be done over or rebuilt as I have not tested it. The truck has minimal rust for the year. The worst spot is in the picture over the wheel well which is very common. The doors sills are in great shape and the undercarriage is very solid. The truck spent the majority of it's life sitting in a firehouse. The seats are in ok shape with a few tears on the driver side. Needs brake work. new tires. and exhaust . however I drove this truck 400 miles from the government auction about a year ago. Since then the truck received a new battery and I mounted(never used myself) the used Meyer plow which is included. Truck has some dents. dings. and scratches normal with the age.
