Although not a real Super Bee this car will be a thrill and a joy to drive and will draw a crowd wherever it goes. This is a way to enjoy the mystic of the Super Bee without the outrageous price tag. The Dodge Super Bee was a limited production muscle car from the Dodge Rapid Transit R/T division known today as the Street and Racing Technology division SRT. The car was built from 1968 to 1971. The car was a mean looking street/drag racing machine. The Super Bee had higher quality accessories and a higher price compared to its Road Runner cousin from Plymouth. The Super Bee also sported larger wheel openings. Fancier grill and taillight ornamentation and the famed bumblebee tail stripe. Also the Super Bee logo was an actual three- dimensional die cast chrome – plated “Bee” medallion. These were based on the Dodge “Scat Pack” Bee and were prominently mounted on the grill/trunk lid area. The Super Bees included a heavy duty suspension. high performance tires and outside stripes (with the Bee logo) was wrapped around the tail. This car has a 360ci replacement motor mated to the world famous 727 Torque flite automatic transmission and a Poai-Tracton rear end. Just replaced the fuel system including the gas tank lines and a new carb. Although not a show car it is a very nice quality driver and will get you where you want to go in a real hurry. The car would benefit from a good tune up and some detailing. But at the asking price you have a lot of room for making improvements as you enjoy the car.
