| UP FOR AUCTION is my 1965 Dodge Coronet 500. It was the top model available in 1965. These are the cars that the likes of Dick Landy made famous during the SuperStock wars of the sixties!! My car is a very nice example . It is virtually rust. reck and problem FREE !! It is a complete car. It is not missing any of it's original pieces that it had when it left the factory. It has it's original trim. enders. ood. runk lid doors. bumpers. nterior. ash ect. ect. This car is all in order. The engine compartment is complete and very clean. the trunk is complete and very clean. the interior is complete and very clean. The changes from stock are not overly noticeable but significant. The 383 engine is built to a high performance standard. It is a BAD BAD boy but it is still very streetable and can be driven daily if you wished. The car runs very well on The middle octane (PLUS) gasoline and can run on the low grade regular if you don't get crazy with the throttle pedal. The interior has had the front buckets and the rear benchseat reupholstered. It has a new headliner as well as new sunvisors. The interior retains the original door panels. ashpad. glove box. arranty plate. plus the original uncut dash and a restored factory steering wheel. The wheels are new retro 60'[s Torque Thrust mags with new but period corect White letter tires. The exhaust system is all new from the headers. peformance mufflers to the tailpipes. The car growls a bit when you get on it but overall it is fairly quiet under normal driving conditions. This car starts easily. runs down the road in its own lane. does not rattle. shake or squeek. and when you want it to. it will run like a scalded dog !! These are pretty rare cars. the Coronet 500 in particular is hard to find in real nice condition. I would honestly rate this car as a STRONG 8 on the 1 to 10 scale.
