COOL OLD FARM TRUCK
Offered here for your inspection and consideration is this 1955 Dodge C-1, 1/2 ton pickup. This is an exceptional condition Arizona truck that needs little in the way of cosmetics to be that awesome, fair weather driver and vintage tow vehicle.
Don't let the colors confuse you, Dodge apparently painted many C-1 trucks with black beds. This is basically a rust free truck with decently straight panels, acceptable panel fit and good closing gaps. Nice tail gate.
Recent service and repair work include, but not limited to:*Complete brake service including: Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, steel brake lines, flex hoses & brake shoes.*New water pump, system flush and fresh coolant.*Fuel system: professionally cleaned and tested fuel tank, new fuel pump. new fuel level sender.*Seat recovered in premium black vinyl.
Some of the points of interest on this truck worth mentioning, are:1. One small rust spot at lower portion of driver's door. Have not found any rust, anywhere.2. Original oak bed floor, with one small hole in one corner.3. Steering wheel and horn press are stock, original.4. Deluxe original door panels.5. Good glass throughout, some delamination on wing vents, but no broken glass. Window lifts function as they should.6. Starts, runs, drives and starts well.7. Period correct accessory rear bumper.8.
