This rare 1963 Dodge Polara 400 was the precursor to the Charger it was extremely well cared for one family car I was told the mileage 72539 was the original miles although I can't verify. The car was always garaged and it's rare to see a no rust car from this era. It was purchased from the family in Anaheim Calif by a Police museum in Medford Oregon transported and converted into a Police car for display the car was never a patrol unit, all the lights were period correct and very hard to find, it has the 1960's siren and for good measure a carson siren system as well it is disables for now to meet ebay rules but easy to reconnect. I have owned the car for 5 years trouble free it does have a tranny leak when it sits for any length of time but the car runs, drive, shifts and has never overheated I have put 4500 miles on it since I've owned it I put some air shocks on it to improve it's stance. This car has been so much fun I hate to part with it but I need to reduce my collection. It has been the star at weddings, funerals, home coming events, parades, car shows, civic events, police promotions, route 66 events, family photo shoots, and hot roders like to video me chasing them down and giving them tickets not to mention drivers shooting videos of it driving down the road. It does have a Calif Route 66 theme that's really cool but easily changed since it is vinyl not paint. I am also including a stunt dummy dressed in a Route 66 sheriffs uniform and my collection of police badges, hats, belts, holsters and misc items I got for display purposes items show in picture just a small sample. The car has a few minor dents and dings but it is in overall very good condition. I encourage you to inspect the car or call me with any questions my number is 951-505-8561 my name is Bill. This car is being sold with no reserve but I reserve the right to sell it prior to the close it is advertised locally there is no buy it now price but if I get valid offer's I will entertain them.
