1971 Dodge Challenger 340 convertible. 1970 was the only year for the Challenger R/T convertible, so this car is as good as it gets for 1971. This is a very clean, rust free, documented, numbers matching, ~98,000 mile, 2 owner CA/AZ car. This car had one driver quality paint job since new. The door jambs, engine compartment and trunk still have the original paint. The original numbers matching 340 has about 5,000 miles on the rebuild. The transmission was replaced at some point and is not numbers matching. All other numbers on the car match. Everything on the car works and it runs and drives great ( no overheating and no leaks). The car is documented with the original fender tag and broadcast sheet. This is a very dependable car that is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

E-body convertibles in this condition are very hard to find and rarely come up for sale.

• As with most e-bodies the lower quarter panels have some bubbles starting (see closeup pics). This is very minor, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware of this. I have owed several AZ cars and this even happens to the AZ cars due to dirt and moisture getting trapped in the lower quarters.
