| 1950 Dodge Wayfarer 2 Door-63. 00 miles-Original 6 cylinder with Fluid Drive Transmission-The car has a newer rear end and has been converted to a 12 volt system-The engine runs and sounds decent-The Fluid Drive Transmission is not working. It acts as if it wants to move but doesn't. The car rolls easily to load onto a trailer. -The body is not perfect but is a solid start. -The floors have had some repairs-The trunk floor is solid-The interior is original but needs reupholstered-The car is a good restoration project or would make a neat hot rod or rat rod project**I am selling for a friend. so please call him with questions. On Nov-24-14 at 09:19:43 PST. seller added the following information:*I had a very informative email from someone who seems very knowledgeable about the fluid drive transmissions. This is not a guarantee that it will fix it. but worth a try if you are the winning bidder. There is an inspection cover on the floor to remove. then remove the inspection cover on the bell housing. The engine has to be bumped around until a drain plug appears in the opening. After removing the drain plug. fill with non detergent oil to the bottom of the hole. Put back together. there is a good chance it will move. If we had the time we would attempt it. but are still selling as is. |
