Description of 1959 Dodge Coronet

Wonderful starting, running, steering, stopping and driving car. 326 V-, 3 speed torque flight automatic transmission with push button shifter, power steerin, Tennessee car much of its life, newer radial tires and newer interior. This is a great antique car. I have driven this car hundreds of miles at highway speeds and it is truly a joy. The new radial tires combined with the factory torsion bar suspension make this 50's car performance a pleasure on the expressway and around town. It always starts, is fast and stops great. The underneath is very good. The trunk has a repair but looks ok. The paint is good, local car show quality, not pebble beach grade, the interior looks and is fantastic but purists will realize it is not exactly correct. The chrome bumpers are ok, not as new but ok, and several small parts show some pitting, I have shown this in a photograph. It's odd that those pieces are pitted as this is the most objectionable part of the car. You do see these pieces for sale on eBay and such. The THREE speed torque flight transmission is a key to this cars fabulous road manner, it is so much better than the power flight. A last note, you will meet lots of people when you drive this car. Everyone wants to know about your space age car !! They'll ask what is it? Where is the shifter ? They'll go wild over the tail fins!! So learn to embrace it. I can help with shipping most anywhere in the world, however the buyer must pay all shipping costs.
