Description of 1971 Dodge Challenger

71 challenger redone. Features: 727 with Gear Vendor Overdrive (see pic of dash - left instruments has two small lights and toggle switch - that's the O/D switch with foot activated secondary switch). Car has a 440 completely gone through - JE pistons. Indy heads. Hughes solid cam. Harland Sharp roller rockers Hooker Super Comp headers. MSD 6AL. etc. Approx 10. 5:1 CR so runs on pump gas no problem. Newly upholstered front seats. new dash cover. new paint. new carpet. new battery. new high-torque starter. new radiator. fresh 8 3/4 rear end with 3. 55 Suregrip. Disc brakes in front. manual steering. New rear bumper. new fuel pump. etc. Car has no rust issues whatsover. I have pics of floor and trunk before paint (was sublime with black vinyl top before). Rallye dash (all gauges including clock work). horn works. all lights work. blinkers work (including on hood). etc. No stereo. but Kicker speakers are installed and wired to behind where stereo would be. Funky back seat upholstery but who cares. Tires have very low miles on them. energy suspension kit installed and car is lowered 1 inch in rear (front spring hanger from Mancini). Paint is not perfect. there is a slight oil leak from rear of motor (I'm not going to pull the motor again). other than that everything is really nice in the car. Car does have fender tag and I do have the build sheet in possession. JH23L car. True mileage is unknown. Basically a decent restoration (not professional) for a driver with some modifications. Priced accordingly.
