Description of 1992 Dodge Stealth 2 Door Coupe

Picture this stunning blue Dodge Stealth twin turbo in your ownership! The timeless body style on this beautiful car keeps people guessing its age and many times is mistaken for a car only a few years old. Exceptional well taken care of and maintained.

Upgrades include:

  • Chrome rims/ Goodyear Eagle F1 tires with about 10k miles on them (stock rims included)

  • Air conditioning converted from R12 to R134A and cools perfectly

  • Timing bel, water pump, and belts were done about 2200 miles ago for safety reasons of its age. Dealership recommended this and completed the inspection and the work.

  • In 1994 Dodge raised boost on these cars to hold 10-12 lbs. This car holds between 11-12 lbs by a manual boost controller that can be quickly returned to stock if desired.

  • K & N Filter (stock air box included)

  • Oil change and filter about every 1500 miles or less with synthetic oil. Presently about 20 miles on current change

  • Factory service manuals included/ have maintenance records from dealership/ all known recalls done.

  • Hard to detect flaws include:

    1) Small paint impression on the rear bumper (picture shown)

    2) Split in defrost vents carefully repaired with special adhesive. (picture shown)

    3) Drivers side door panel has small imperfections. Both panels were replaced due to lifting of fabric. Factory panels included if you can find a shop to reglue them they should be perfect. (picture shown)

    4) Some fading on a couple pieces of plastic behind rear seats that is almost impossible to detect without pointing it out as it is hidden when viewing the car

Average person sees none of these defects

Here is my in depth analysis after over 23 years of ownership. The car drives straight, feels tight and shifts smoothly with no leakslike you would expect from a car with 33913 miles because I never attempted to spin the tires or ever brought it close to redline. I have never been in an accident or recieved a ticket with the car. All gauges and electronics work as they should as I took the time to test them (even the light bulb under the hood works to check the oil at night). When you store the car for a period of time as I do you will sometimes notice lifter noise that goes away after seconds or minutes of driving which is considered normal for these cars. Lastly in my style of driving every year or two, only when it’s hot, it takes extra seconds to start then another year of two goes by. Remarkably few touch ups that come from ownership and the tiny stone specks you get from normal driving. This car turns heads and receives compliments!Serious buyers are encouraged to see and drive the car in person or do a video walk around of the car if desired. I am a 63 year old retiree and would like to open up some garage space. Not interested in trades but will entertain all reasonable offers!
