A 426cid V8 Hemi engine was installed and the car became a whole new monster. The engine is original 1965 engine, complete with the original cast iron heads. The car was fitted with SS valves, bronze guildsm headed seals, new studded block, Aires forged pistons, Billit crankshaft and Beam rods. The 727 transmission was built by Mancini Racing and still has the original shifter. It is running a 8 ¾ rear end with 232 Sure Grip and disc/drum brake combo. The body is unique in that the exterior is in original condition. The exterior retains its original finish and has tons of patina. The car is very clean, with no rot and all of the trim and panels are complete apart from the side rub strips. The vinyl top is in good shape and the car rides on steel wheels with hubcaps and 225/255 tires front to rear. The engine bay is stunningly clean and has been powder coated, primed, and painted.
