Rare 1942 Dodge 3 window Deluxe Coupe.Since automotive production stopped in February 1942 due to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, production was limited and there aren't many of these left in existence - This is the only one I have ever seen. I have been able to find only 2 other like vehicles on the internet; both fully restored and neither for sale. The engine fires up and the car runs, shifts, and steers like a 1942. The brakes work but will need attention. The body is solid and doesn't appear to have ever been wrecked. The trunk floor does have rust and needs a section replaced. The glass on the drivers door is cracked but rolls up and down just fine. The paint has awesome patina and is blistering up and off in places. The previous owner replaced the gas tank, tires, shocks, and painted the dash. The interior has been reupholstered some years ago; the front carpet is missing. The stainless door/floor trim is in the trunk.I have cleaned the car up, installed a new battery, and replaced the oil filter with a NOS part. The oil has been drained and changed with high zinc motor oil. This is an awesome car as is or candidate for museum restoration. Serious inquiries only, and PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PAY!This vehicle is also listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time and for any reason.Good luck and God Bless!
