Description of 1950 Dodge Panel Van Chrome

Craftsman SEMAShow Truck

Up for bid is my 1950DodgeB-1 Panel Truck

Purchased by the original owner in 1950 and was commissioned as a tool truck going from shop to shop selling hand tools to mechanics until it was retired and stored as it was from 1982 until I purchased it in 2010.The shelving and tools were still in the back of the truck. There was one small dent in this rust free body so little work was required to bring it back to perfect quality. The Dodge was based coatedin Red,Craftsman logo was hand painted, clear coated, then color sanded and polished.

Dodge is powered by a flathead six with a whopping 95 horsepower backed up by a three on the tree transmission. Shows 42,972 miles and I believe it has to be correct by the condition of the vehicle when I bought it.

Mechanically the following was done

All brake lines, hoses, cylinders, shoes were replaced and the drums turned

Fuel tank was removed boiled out and installed

Generator, voltage regulator, and starter replaced

Battery replaced

Radiator redone

Water pump rebuilt

Thermostat and housing replaced

Replaced belt and hoses

Rebuilt carb

Replaced plugs, points, condenser, rotor, distributor cap, plug wires

All lights replaced

Interior seat was recovered.

Floor was sanded,stained,then sealed, andbeautiful.

It was on the floors of SEMA for three years and was enjoyed and marveled by many.

4 new wide white tires to finish it out

This would be a great way to market your company.

Happy bidding and please ask any questions you might have.
