Description of 1968 Dodge Coronet

1968 Dodge Coronet, been off the road since 1986. 400 Motor is not original, sounds very good, but I did not rebuild the carb so it doesn't like to idle. Having known these mopars for a long time just buy a 4 barrel carb/intake combo and be done with it, this motor sounds like it will be a great runner.
Brakes were updated, car stops nicely. The red you see on the car was a primer that was sprayed on it years ago to protect it. We sanded through most of that with 320, almost tempted to clear it as-is and have a sweet patina ride.
New fuel tank, mechanically I don't think it's far from being road worthy. Original console is coming apart. Hood is not original to the car, but fitting for the powerplant that's in it (just please do this car justice and go to a 4 barrel intake and carb!)
Frame rails, torque boxes, structurally everything looks really good just covered with a lot of surface rust. Should clean up and undercoat/paint nicely. Floor pans are usable, just need a little attention on some small holes. Trunk floor is coming apart in the middle after we popped in the new tank, so I would replace it. Miscellaneous parts of the car need small patches see the pics accordingly for those areas. All pretty simple stuff to repair.
I always recommend inspection on project cars, but understand distances so try to be as honest as possible. This is a solid project car, mechanically one weekend away from being on the road.
Car goes forward and reverse and will run to load onto a transporter. I can recommend the broker I use for transportation quotes. Deposit is non-refundable, please see my feedback as a seller, it's excellent and I expect to keep it that way. Please serious bidders only, and check my other auctions for a few more project cars including a 1970 Road Runner and a 1970 GTX, and Chargers too.
Thanks and clear Texas Title in my name on all of my cars.
