Description for Dodge Coronet 1966

This police car is a nearly identical copy of the 1966 Dodge I drove as an officer with the Burbank Police Department. I personally restored this car, using quality parts and materials. An extensive effort was made to acquire the exact police equipment used in '66. The result is an accurate representation of the original Burbank car.
The engine is a low mileage 1966 Dodge 318, with a smooth 727 automatic. Laser straight sheet metal, 95% Bondo free. Verified factory 'police package' equipment includes; H/D front stabilizer, H/D torsion bars, H/D extra leaf rear springs, H/D seat springs, roof reinforcement plate, Certified speedometer, 60amp alternator gauge, radio delete plate, rubber floor mats, & 11 inch brakes. The fuel tank is new, and the sending unit is a NOS replacement.
Emergency equipment includes: lights identical to those used on original BPD cars, along with vintage FyrFyter brand siren amplifier, and speaker. The Motorola radio is first generation "Transistor Research Line", with a 1966 manufacture date. Burbank specified 15 inch wheels, so all five tires including the spare, are reproduction Firestone Deluxe Champion 7:10 x 15 bias ply rubber. The hot sheet desk is a good hand made copy, as originals are impossible to locate. Interior is all new, done in correct police package medium brown.
KNOWN ISSUES: Condition of this vehicle is excellent except for the following: the original windshield has an easy to miss small crack in the lower right area of the glass: the gas gauge does not work, yet the fuel sender is a new OEM part: and a slight 'sweat' leak from the transmission. No other known defects.
NOTE: The Ithica shot gun seen in the photos is for display purposes only, and is NOT PART OF THIS SALE ! It is not for sale under any circumstances!
This car draws a lot of respect and attention in parades and car shows. It has also been prominent in local law enforcement ceremonies... The vehicle is presently at the sellers residence in Western Montana.
