Description of 1971 Dodge Challenger --

Every where you look this car will impress you with its quality. Looks and functions like a new 71 Challenger. EXTERIOR: Hot looking car! The body is great. Dry, clean metal that is straight and fits right. Upgraded R/T hood with pins. Repainted it's original B-5 blue color. The grill and tailpanel are detailed. Bumpers and trim are bright. Jambs are tidy, weatherstrips are new. It has the 15" rally wheels with BFG tires, they look new. INTERIOR: Just as... tidy as the outside. All the plastic trim looks new. Upholstery is new. Headliner, visors, carpet are all excellent. The dash pad has no cracks. Instrument area is excellent, has factory Am-Fm radio. There is a tachometer and gauge cluster neatly added. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay has clean rust free, damage free metal painted blue. The 318 motor runs like new, upgraded with aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb with electric choke. The motor is detailed. Every component looks new, is properly installed and is functioning correctly. The original fender tag is still attached. Power steering is a feature this car has. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal painted blue. Has spare, complete jack assembly mounted properly and a new mat. UNDERSIDE: Looks new! The metal front to back is clean, rust free original. Has a nice coat of black paint. The front end steering and suspension is rebuilt and detailed. New dual exhaust, new brakes, new shocks, new fuel tank and sending unit. Bottom of the motor, trans and rear look fresh. I look at thousands of collector cars a year, this one is impressive. Drive it, get under it, inspect it for as long as you like and I'm confident you would agree with me. It's not a $100,000 restoration but it's clean and "right"! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
