Description of 1985 Dodge Diplomat Salon

This is an East Coast car, which migrated west to California after disposal by the original purchasing agency. Front seats are bucket type, rear seat is bench. Lap belts are present. No AM/FM radio. Padded dash and some interior panels (rough condition) removed to facilitate wiring tracing but included in sale. Actual mileage (174K) exceeds mechanical limits of 5-digit odometer. Four 15x7" police-type rims are included, but wheel rim & tire shown at Rt rear in photos has been rotated to trunk spare due to worn tread, and replaced by a tire w/ near new tread mounted on a civilian 15x6" rim. The vehicle is available for inspection in Redding, CA, by appointment. I have owned this vehicle for ten years and have had it serviced regularly. I welcome any questions and guarantee full disclosure regarding its condition. License plates were concealed during photos to deter online scammers. The vehicle registration is current and there are no DMV fees or penalties owed on it. Registered in smog-exempt county, but it has passed smog testing w/ replaced pump on 8-19-2019. Trunk lock rain shield removed due to broken spring; replacement included. Right rocker panel molding fell off & plastic mounting pieces removed to prep for paint (most broken); molding will be provided to buyer on request. Wheel rim moldings were also removed to prep for paint & give the car a somewhat "Retro" look. Crack in lower left corner of windshield below driver's visual field; BB sized chip w/ "spider webbing" 1 cm diameter to Rt of midline an inch from bottom edge of windshield (where wiper blade rests). Headliner was removed for laundering but included in sale. This is a very fast car.
