Blemishes are all shown close-up and under direct sunlight. - While it has of course been resprayed, this was originally a Bright Blue Metallic over White Vinyl car. It has been done as a GTS clone, and has the appropriate badging and striping. Paint presents extremely well, with a nice, very subtle metallic finish. Paint was done to a high standard; there are no dust nibs, tape lines, or paint run on the car. Again, please defer to the video for close-ups of the few blemishes. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Steel wheels with polished rings look great, with no curb rash or damage. Mickey Thompson tires look just right on the car. Good condition, with no dryness or significant wear, though we are not positive as to their age. - Body is nice and straight. No dents or scuffs. Just a couple minor chips, a tiny little crack in the paint on the inside lip of the passenger front fender well, as well as a scratch by the driver's side hood pin. There are also a couple small blisters on the passenger rocker (shown close-up in video). - Polished surfaces are free of oxidation or damage. Mirror-like finish throughout. - Panel fitment is very good. Doors open and close smoothly, no slamming. Interior: - Odometer reads 63,790 and is functional, though the car no longer retains its original motor and we cannot verify if that is truly actual chassis mileage. Other gauges are all functional, including aftermarket tachometer. Gauge face looks great, not tattered or tired at all. - Dash top is in good shape, though there is a crack in the driver's corner by the VIN tag, as well as another centered in front of the driver. Please see photos. - Radio is not functional, neither is the blower. While this car was originally optioned with air conditioning, the components are no longer present. Creature comforts were not the paramount concern of this build, but rather, a well-presented GTS tribute with an absolutely epic, rock solid drivetrain. - Headliner is clean and tight. Sills are clean and polished. Black carpet is in good shape, no more than very minor signs of age. Car will also come with a nice set of black Dart-branded floormats. Mechanical / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as the car is documented in detail. The underbody is a highlight of the car. Just beautiful. Hardly even a spec of surface rust to note. No damage, no tired or cracked rubber, everything is very fresh throughout. Recent fuel tank, Edelbrock shocks, and Magnaflow mufflers at a very minimum. - The car runs and drives very well, and has tons of power. It fires right up first turn, idles cool and steady, pulls HARD through the gears, shifts smoothly, has nice, direct steering, and the ride quality is quite good despite the clear performance-oriented objective of the build. No significant cowl shake, no suspension rattles or clanks, no other concerning or out-of-the-ordinary tendencies for a '69 hot rod. The car tracks straight down the road, and brakes straight and effectively. As it sits now, this car is ready to be wound out and enjoyed. Buy with confidence, this is a good one. - Please note, this car does have a rebuilt title, which was issued while the car was in the state of Georgia. We are very much of the belief that this was issued due to some sort of paperwork loss or clerical error a ways back, but cannot be absolutely 100% positive of what happened. We have looked over this car at length with a critical eye and have found no evidence of structural damage, ill-fitting panels, or the like. This car is finished to a high standard and is sure to make the next owner happy. With any further questions, requests, or to discuss purchasing, please reach out to Jake at 773-273-8257.
