Description of 1970 Dodge Challenger

You are looking at a 1970 Dodge Challenger with the rare Code A66 Scat Pack 340 Package. This car is 4-speed manual and built in the Los Angeles Plant in November of 1969 and shipped as a sold order to Montana, where it stayed most of its life. The original owner kept it garaged and through just 83,692 original miles, it stayed rust-free and in remarkably great shape. The interior including the cloth/vinyl Houndstooth bucket seats are still original. The carpet, dash pad, all original. The original radio is in it and it has never been cut up for aftermarket stereos or speakers. The car has been repainted once in its original EV2 Hemi Orange with factory original V9W White Bumblebee Stripe. The car is not a trailer queen. It is one that you can drive around and have fun with. The undercarriage is original and the paint has a few flaws, so you drive it and not freak out about everything. I've had trailer queens and they're great and nice- to look at.
This car still has the reverse steering column locking linkage on it. It also still has a working choke with fast idle that fires up and kicks off as it would have when new. The car is unmolested. The engine and transmission numbers match the VIN of the car. The cowl numbers match. The radiator support numbersmatch. The door sticker numbers match. The Dash VIN matches. The original fender tag VIN matches. This is a numbers matching car. It has the correct 26" 2998974 Radiator. The sheet metal including the trunk floor is all original.
The car has nearly brand new Goodyear Polyglas GT F60-15 RWL tires on it. I just had the brakes adjusted, fluid flush and new wheel cylinders installed. I also had my technician put in a new heater core and completely flush the entire cooling system. The car drives great and drives and brakes straight.
Car has left and right side Chrome Racing Mirrors, Sure Grip Differential, Console and Hood Pins, Factory Locking Gas Cap under the Flip Top..
This is a Los Angeles Plant car (E Code), so it does not have aBroadcast Sheet. Being California, they didn't leave the sheets in cars, It has the original fender tag and the numbers match. I do have a photo of the original window sticker (See Pics). The actual window sticker was lost in arecent move, but will likely be found and forwarded to the new owner.Bottom line is that this is a super good-looking, super-straight, super-original, super-nice rare car that you can have a blast with and go to cruises and shows without breaking the bank. It's also going to hold its own in value as E Bodies are always on the climb. I don't think you could find one this nice for this kind of money.
It has original exhaust manifolds, and the rest of the exhaust system is factory stuff.
Here is what the car needs:
1: The mufflers (The long round ones, not the resonators ahead of them) have holes in the center bottom of them fromcondensation.2: The rear bumper has chrome peeling at the right side, so should be rechromed at some point.
Other than that, enjoy it.
The car is in Canfield, Ohio. I can assist in getting a shipper lined up at your cost.
I have a clear title to the car. Miles are actual.
This car is offered by Bob Frederick of Frederick Scat Pack/ Frederick Dodge. It is my personal car.
