Description of 1968 Dodge Power Wagon W-200

This is a very clean and complete truck. This is an original 318. 4 speed. 4x4. 4. 10:1 Dana truck. It was originally delivered to Oklahoma City. but made it to Arkansas. The body is very clean. the cab. box. and rockers have had repairs from what appears to be a very old restoration / repaint. The body itself is nearly rust free. The floor boards have been repaired but they are very solid. The underside is unrestored and in good condition for its age. It will need some rust repaired at the fender and cab mounts behind the front wheels. The tailgate is included with the truck and is in good condition. it will need new trunnions. The truck drives like a 1968 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4. It is a lot of fun to drive. (if your kidneys are up for the challenge). It starts easily. idles smooth. runs. and shifts very well. and has good power. (no smoke or leaks). The transfer case and diffs are in good working order and functions correctly. The transfer case shifts smoothly but the linkage has some slop. It is very tight when locked in. It has a new battery. plugs. wires. points. cap and rotor. Someone along the way put a aluminum 4 bbl manifold and a carter AFB on it. It does not have power steering. but it DOES have A/C that appears original or dealer add on. The belt is not hooked up. but the compressor turns smoothly. The exhaust is not brand new but very good and solid. true full length dual exhaust. Interior power and wiring is in good shape also. The head lights. tail lights. brake lights. nbsp;signals. interior lights and blower all work. All in all this truck is in very good shape. I have put over 100 miles on it so far. It is a blast to drive and gets compliments wherever you go. However with that being said. it is not a restored truck. it is not a perfect truck.
