This is a very nice driver quality car that would be great for local car meets. show & shines. etc. It is not however. a full on show car by any means. It could however quite easily be taken to the next level. The paint is not perfect. there are 2-3 minor flaws and the paint has NOT been color sanded and buffed. as it should be. My mechanic quit on me just before we were finished and I have run out of funds to complete this project 100%. *The passenger side quarter panel was replaced around 1975. The rest of the body panels are all original to the car and always rust free. This engine and trans was taken from a 1966 Coronet 440. 4 door. They were not original to this car either. The numbers on the side of the engine are 2205712-4. 1-29-62. I have the original 383. 2 BBL engine and 727 trans that came from this car available for an extra $1000 if the new owner wants to keep the car numbers matching. They were running when the car was parked in 1979. and the engine stills turns free today. I also have many more extra parts that were removed from the donor car that will be included for free if wanted. KNOWN PROBLEMS OR REPAIRS NEEDED: 1) A/C & heat are all there and connected. but there is a problem with controls or vacuum lines that we haven't figured out. Condensor is new. Radiator & A/C/heater core are both cleaned and repaired as necessary. Right now it blows hot all the time. 2) Gas gauge in not working. We replaced the sending unit & checked the gauge. so it must be in the wiring. 3) Temp gauge is in-op also. I have a new 3 gauge set installed under the dash. but only the oil pressure has been hooked up so far. 4) New window felts have been installed. but the door panels need to be removed to seat the front ones properly. 5) Most interior chrome trim & the wing window frames have some pitting. The wing windows are the worst. I do have a replacement set that I bought here on eBay. They too have some pitting. but not as bad as the ones on the car. You could buff & polish these and install them to show a substantial improvement. I have tried to be as open and honest as possible in my description of my vehicle. It is currently licensed & insured in my name. I am sure I have forgot some things. If you have any questions. feel free to call me at 702-305-3139. Of course since this is a 48 year old car. it is sold strictly "AS IS-WHERE IS". Please try to remember that your bid is a legal agreement to buy the car. not the right to first refusal. There will be NO deductions from bid upon pick-up of the car. These auctions are expensive and as you can see. I have went to great lengths to represent the car as fairly as possible. Over the years I have sold many classic cars on eBay and have never had a problem or an unsatisfied customer. "B" body 66-67 Dodges are a specialty of mine. I have restored several and drove a 66 Coronet 500 for over 30 years. so I am very familiar with them.
