You’re bidding on a real nice driving and eye catching 1971 Dodge Challenger Sport Coupe. This car’s equipped with its numbers matching 318 V8 now fitted with an Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 barrel electric choke carburetor and matching aluminum intake manifold. It’s been up-graded with a Mopar electronic Ignition system. exhaust headers feeding out through a nice mellow sounding set of dual “Thrush” Turbo Mufflers. Car comes with factory power steering. manual drum brakes. AM radio. front and rear seat belts including optional shoulder belts. remote L/S mirror. A/C (all there but currently inoperative) along with front & rear sway bars and functional old school rear air shocks. Body is solid with only some minor road chips from driving since its restoration/re-freshening in 1992-93. Car still looks great with its nice shinny red paint. perfect black vinyl roof and black vinyl rally stripes. There are no real noticeable scratches or dents worth mentioning. Chrome bumpers. lamps and lenses as well as all moldings are in great condition as well as the replaced windshield. All other glass is in good shape too except passenger window has some window roller scratches running up the glass. Framework and floors all are super solid with no rust issues. Trunk floor was replaced along with the right side quarter panel and the left side lower quarter panel. I find no other signs of panels or steel patches having been replaced or redone. Interior is in basically new condition. Seats were recovered both front and rear using Legendary factory looking seat covers with a special order request for red seat piping. Dash pad is original to the car with two mini 1/8” splits emitting from the speaker grill opening on the left side. Headliner is perfect. rear package tray is perfect. carpet was replaced and perfect. Console and shifter are in good shape. All instruments including an added oil pressure gauge in dash work properly. speedometer and odometer function properly. 4 way flashers and directional signals all work properly. Emergency brake set/release works. Radio works with 2 rear speakers. All instrument cluster lights work including dimmer control and dome light switch. All external lighting works including reverse lights. headlight high beams. license plate light and all side makers. Even the key buzzer still works when the driver’s door is opened. Overall. the car needs nothing to enjoy the upcoming classic car season. It starts right up and can be runs on regular fuel if you want.
