Description of 1969 Ford Mustang |
This 1969 Mustang fastback came to me as a partial trade for another car I had for sale. The front end and back end of the body was mostly disassembled when it arrived so I put the parts back on with a few bolts on each part so you can see what is included and it will now be ok for transport. The back seat and front buckets seats were also out so I put some bolts in them too. According to the Marti report the car was built as a Raven Black car with Black interior and it came with a 351-w 2v. FMX automatic transmission. 2. 75 open rear axle. power steering. electric clock. fold down rear seat. am/fm radio. remote drivers mirror. rocker panel moldings. chrome styled steel wheels and heavy duty suspension. This car has been off the road for over 30 years with the last registration sticker having a 1984 date. I have a Registration Certificate from the state of Connecticut with an expiration date of 11/84. and Assignment of ownership and/or bill of sale also from state of Connecticut. One of the past owners was doing a lot of metal replacement. The rear frame rail extensions have both been changed. along with the tail light panel. cross member which mounts between the tail light panel and the fuel tank. both trunk floors. inner and outer wheelhouses on both sides. full quarter panel on the passengers side and a partial quarter on the drivers side. The fold down rear seat has a very good trap door and the surrounding fiberglass is also in very good shape. The passengers side clock panel is in great shape. New parts-fuel tank. gas shocks (4). black carpet. coil springs. rear leaf springs. rear shackles. The door tag. dash tag. buck tag and both front apron stampings all match. The front drivers side looks to have had an impact at some point in it's life. The front apron was hammered out. but it needs to be replaced. The floors have had some metal patch work welded in. The torque boxes have some rust and the frame inside the torque box also has some rust in that area. The front frame rails both look good in the engine compartment. The shock towers both had some rust in the bottom areas. The drivers side had some weld patching done. The passengers side has not been repaired. The roof skin and the hood both have dents in them. I was told that the car was used as a shelf for many years. Things that I noticed that are missing - drivers side door panel. fold down rear seat side latches and brackets. This is a project car that is in need of a full restoration. The car rolls fairly easily but has no brakes. A $500. 00 deposit thru Paypal is due within 48 hours after end of auction.
