Description of 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser

More photos here: photobucket. com/user/dprhammer/library/FJ62Selling a very nice 1988 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62 WITHOUT the motor. This is a nearly rust free (several small spots where the paint has bubbled only) that was to be my next project where a 2000+ vintage 5. 3 liter Vortec and 4l60e was going to be swapped in but time. money. and spouse stand in the way. The body. undercarriage. etc. is very clean and was from the west coast where it was since new. I started doing a few things such as pulling the motor and drive shafts (the automatic trans and transfer case which work are still in it). Rear carpet was taken out and cleaned but I think a new one would be best. Instrument cluster was also removed as I was going to get a set of Autometer gauges to install into it but never did. Front carpet and seats are in nice shape except for the spot where the driver enters and exits. Other items of interest:The original lower front valance was bad but I have an excellent cond. original to take its placeHood has some dings in itThe 2 front fenders in the very front near the bottom have some minor damageGrill is good except for the drivers side head light section (3 piece grill) and that section only is missing nowBoth driveshafts are goneTires are oldRear bumper has to bumps in it. Bin of many parts included such as: smog pump. trans to block adapter oem. belts. brackets. battery tray. etc. Good set of OEM floormatsClearcoat on the very top of the FJ is bad. faded and peelingNo exhaust of any kindIncludes a large aluminum radiator. brand unknown. looks to be in good shapeAC condenser included22 brand new OEM taillight covers in the box. never usedAll in all. a perfect start to doing a restoration OR a late model GM Vortec swap into. Advance Adapters has the exact adapter to go from the 4L60e to the Toyota split transfer case. These are getting very hard to find in this condition and if you are looking at it. you do know how much they are worth now and when restored. Quite a bit. Take a look at the pics and email me if you have any questions!Paypal deposit followed by a Well Fargo cashiers check/cash wihin 7 days. You would have up to 3 weeks to pick it up. LLocated in Oro Valley AZ which is in the NW corner of Tucson.
