Description of 1994 Ferrari 348

1994 Ferrari 348 Spyder. 43. 00 miles. 2 ignition keys and alarm/auto door opener. Full Serviced (9/5/2014) with timing belt and engine out service just 4 months ago). Tires: 2-3 years old and have 80%-90% of tread left on all four tires. This car has the really nice option (by former owner) of upgraded 355 rims. I must add that the rims do make this car look far less 1990's and it gets looks. compliments and questions wherever she goes. Most people think it is new since they do not realize Ferrari models or see this one very often. RIMS: 355 rims. no rash on any of them. Perfect. Prancing horse plastic center inserts are cracked on a few of the rims but this is pretty common. Nobody notices that but you. A fix that is very simple and relatively inexpensive if you are that anal. Gated 5-speed manual transmission. Windows and electronics work well. Air condition works as well too. Classic Ferrari look and these are beginning to slide up the collectible chain since the Testarossa has doubled in value in the past 3 years. Personally I have driven the 355 and own this car and think this car is not only far better looking but a better driver. It got a bad wrap for years but now people are looking at it as a better investment than a 355. In 10 years or less this car is likely nearing 6 figures. Rosso Corsa finish. Tan Leather seats are good. though slightly dyed a bit much. I personally would recover them if I was not selling. Not because they do not look good. but some of the seat tops are showing mild cracking which is common when dyed and not replaced leather is put into the car. The finest leather interior installed in Atlanta said it would be $2500 to redo both seats which is quite reasonable. I did purchase a brand new leather spyder top. (tan colored) which is included with the sale. New Italian leather Tourneau cover is not shown - older one is shown but I am unsure if I kept it after getting the new leather. The grommets for it are included but it just needs to be punched and installed by a professional (about $80 for a professional to install). Top was nearly $500. It has to be installed since every 348 has custom spaced grommets for the black convertible top. I did not want to try it myself and mess it up. New custom floor mats. slightly off color due to aging. but new at nearly $300. A bonus to the 348 is the MANUAL TOP. The 355 had a power top and the motor alone. which often goes bad. is about $3000 to replace with labor. This top is in great condition and takes about 15 seconds to put down. Books and Manuals: Most 348's do not have any of these and they are costly. This has everything that came from Ferrari including all manuals and tool kit. with the tools. All of the manuals are not shown. but are included with sale. These were purchased from another 348 owner to make the car as original as can be. The tool kit is original to the car and has every tool save one light bulb (although most look just like this one). It even has the compressed air inflator and zip up holder. -She was driven about 2. 00 miles per year which is pretty good for a Ferrari. In a pure driver car. you want that plus recent service and that is what you get here. plus the $5. 00 wheel upgrade. CD player is in car but does not work very well. probably needs a head unit replacement (about $200). Speakers work fine. There are absolutely NO DENTS or DINGS on this car which is rare. However. the front spoiler has stress marks across it. Hard to see in pictures. but I am anal about my cars and honestly you do not see it unless it is pointed out. I also got an estimate for this which was about $1000. As I see it. for $4. 00 you can have a new interior and paint the front spoiler and this car is nearly dead mint. It is a jaw dropping car wherever you go with little kids pointing and taking pics. Most people mistake it for the Ferrari Testarossa due to the side strakes. It is a great driving car. fast. and runs to almost 170 mph. 0-60 is still competitive at around 5. 5 seconds. Top end speed is among ANY elite sports car even 21 years later. This is not gated or blocked. she will do over 150 mph easy.
