1981 FIAT X 1/9We are listing this car for a friend. This is a survivor Fiat. original paint (not many original paint cars left). the interior is original other than the seats have been recovered. The engine runs surprising well. it's very smooth and very quiet. no funny noises/leaks or smoke. It has passed smog in the last two weeks. The door chime works as does the red LED digital factory clock. the horn works. as do the lights and wipers. The voltage/temperature/tachometer/speedometer/odometer gauges also work. the gas gauge moves but does not mark correctly. the electric fans come on automatically and the car runs cool. The dash heater blower works; the car has air conditioning. I feel with a good service that it would work too. The car has one factory power window (drivers side only) and it works. The paint is original and overall looks good. but naturally has chips/dings/small scratches and polish through on the edges over the years. The underneath of the car is dry as a bone. amazingly rust free. there is some surface/cosmetic bubbles around the windshield (nothing to serious to worry about). The car has it's original alloy Cromodora rims and white letter tires with 75% tread left. It has a factory alloy spare that goes behind the passenger seat and an extra rim in the 'trunk". The car runs . shifts and brakes well; very nice original car. The only thing that I noticed is at higher speed one rear wheel bearing is making noise (simple fix). The car has a clear California title. This Fiat would be able to be enjoyed in many ways such as a nice weekend-car/hobby toy. or track-day/autocross car. The car is sold as-is and as equipped. However. you are welcome to come see and/or have the car inspected before the end of the auction. Payment is due in full within seven days of the end of the auction. All taxes. fees/registration are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer arranges and pays for their own transportation/shipping.
