| This is the Launcha Splatos car that won the 2012 Chubba Cheddar Lemons at Road America event. It was built by Besic Motorsports from a 1986 Fiat X 1/9 Bertone with all running gear including the 3. 0 engine (210 HP). 5 sp. transmission. suspension. and sub-frame from an Alfa Romeo 164 S. The complete year long build from the base car. the donor car. components list. components transfer. paint. etc. is documented and included with the car. This car has competed in a number of Lemons and Chump events and is immediately recognized. Specs include: - Engine is stock Alfa Romeo 164 S with K&N air filter (Fresh head-gaskets and cam belt 2014) - Custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler - Transmission is stock Alfa Romeo 164 S mated to custom linkage - Front Brakes are Volkswagen GTI front calipers. Carbotec pads. Milano vented rotors adapted to X 1/9 hubs - Rear Brakes are all Alfa 164 FRONT components with Carbotec pads - Brake pedal assemblies are from Coleman. Brake Triple-masters from Tilton - Fuel Cell is a 12 gallon ATL unit with pre-pump feeding main pump - Radiator is 80's Corvette automatic - Roll Cage is elaborate tying main structure to 164 sub-frame - Belts / Harness Lemons/Chump legal 6-point - Fire System is new OMP (installed 2014) - (4) Front wheels are Alfetta GT Ronal 14 x 6 with 4 bolt - (4) Rear wheels are Milano Verde 15 x 6 with 5 bolt - Lights include brake lights from a pressure switch.
