Description of 1979 Fiat Other SPYDER

I am selling this for friend who takes meticulous care of his cars. Up for grabs is a 1979 FIAT Spyder 2000 Convertible with 12000 miles. Comes with optional AUTOMATIC transmission, Air Conditioning, four wheel disc brakes and electronic ignition. Added to the car was keyless power locks and electric fuel pump. Car runs and drives great. Starts right up and shifts smoothly. Recent tune-up including plugs, wires, coil, distributor car and ignition module. All four brake pads were recently replaced as well. Suspension was gone over and parts replaced as needed, steering is fine. Oil was recently changed as well. AC needs recharge, but all components are there. Glass is in good shape with no haze or pitting. Body is in OK shape. There is some surface rust on the panels, but the frame is solid. There are some paint chips as well as paint chipped off the passenger side front headlight. Bumpers were removed to give it that Euro look. Alloy wheels havelike-new tires on them. Full size spare with alloy wheel is in trunk. Overall I would consider this a "20 footer". Top is new, interior in very good shape, front seats are original, rear seat has been recovered. New carpeting kit was installed. Electrically everything works with the exception of the windshield wiper. Comes with premium sound system with Ipod docking station.
This car can be driven anywhere! Very reliable and good on gas.
