Description of 1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This is a rare find for a bug collector. Lady owner for several decades in N. Cal calls it quits driving a stick. In the last two years. she had installed a new top. complete carpet and upholstery. rebuilt the engine and had it painted. (98% perfect with 3 chips. ) Most recently 600 was spent in doing all the brakes at a shop in Petaluma. (Receipts available. )In my book. this car "has no rust" in the under carriage or body. If you are a Purist (or a clown) you can find (a little) rust on the lower inside of both bumpers. It does rain in Ca. . . in the last 46 years. And the original exhaust pipes look rusty as they often do. Lastly. you'd want new chrome hub caps as the after market ones have rust. It runs and drives like a dream. It has just been driven 100 miles to get it here. It would be near a show car in the upper 85+ points region. For a daily driver. it has distinction and class. It has low original miles and always been garaged inside. As tax time draws near. owner is motivated for it to go to a deserving home. Open to local trades with at least 5000 payment.
