1968 Mustang Fastback

Sorry for all the grass clippings on the driveway.This is a relist because of overseas problems.This is a car I have been working on for 2 years. I have lost interest and will sell to the highestbidder. I've got a lot of money invested in this car and I know I'm going to take a loss, ut I'm not going to give it away.

Anyhow I purchased the car several years ago. From what the last owner told me the car sat in a garage for 20 years. I tend to believe that because nowhere did the car have rust. I have posted a few pictures to show while it was up on rotisserie. The car had no filler except in the passenger side door and left quarter.All panels look original in my opinion. All filler was removed and fixed properly. The skin on the passenger door was replaced. But door was not fitted before paint. (lesson learned) The skin needs to be replaced again because I replaced it myself instead of the body shop. (another lesson learned) This is the main problem with the car. I went ahead and removed the skin to show people that the door lines up and opens and close's properly. You will need a new skin. I do have enough paint to repaint the door. The engine was completely rebuilt and runs very well. It has an edelbrock 500 cfm. When first listed it needed a smaller carb, eater core, nd rocker adjustment. This has all been done it just needs the door fixed.

It is a California car and I went back with the original primer red on bottom. It had drum brakes and they were changed to power disk. The car is an AC car, he vacum lines were replaced under dash and ready to work. It needs the compressor installed. All seats were completely redone, ew headliner, arpet, ew stereo and front and rear speakers. Transmission is a c4 automatic. Transmission, ear end, nd motor all have matching numbers. It's the original color other than the interior was white. I has a base coat clear coat paint. The paint and clear coat was Deltron. It has 4 coats of paint and 4 clear coats. I useda very expensive primer on this car also. It really needs to be sanded with 3000 grit and buffed again but looks fine. It was block sanded 4 times. All new rubber's were used. The tires are 15' 225-60 BF Goodrich. Rims are American racing. Power steering. I do have all the parts for the passenger door inside and out. All parts that could be used were media blasted and painted or replaced new. I have over 35,000 in this car so whoever gets it will have a nice car. Just really tired of messing with it everyday.
