1968 Ford XL Fastback with matching numbers 390- 4V " Z " code 315 hp engine and C-6 Select Shift Cruise-o-matic transmission with only 35,400 original miles. I purchased the car around 4 years ago and have only driven it 500 miles since. It's always been garaged and covered during my ownership. The Wimbledon White paint appears to be mostly original including the black decals along the bottom of the car. The original parchment vinyl top looks new and the body looks great with no issues. The interior has rare bucket seats with console.....the interior is in amazing original condition. The original carpet is showing signs of fading from black to brown. The original AM-8 track radio works great (except for the 8 track player) including the factory rear speakers. A/C blows cool but not cold....probably just needs re-charge. It was blowing very cold about a year ago. I changed the oil every year due to time and not mileage. It does have a small oil leak from sitting up, ooks to be about a quarter size.In the past few years here's a list of all the changes I have done to the car: new trunk lid seal, ew valve cover and intake gaskets, ransmission seals and filter replaced, ew rear coil springs, ew Holley carb, ew MagnaFlow mufflers.It has an aftermarket cruise control but I don't have it connected to the carb....I just never felt a need for it.The guy I purchased the car from said he purchased it fom the original family that purchased it new in the Dallas area back in 68. I have attached a picture of the Marti report, ave the original owners manual showing it was purchased in Terrell, X on July 29, 968. This is such a unique car to find in this condition....it's truly one of the best driving cars I have ever owned. This car still has the original spare and jack. 100% no rust anywhere on the car.The original chrome and tim looks new. It's a great color combo that sets this car apart from others.
