Description of 1956 Ford F-100

1956 Ford F100 P/U color red with white doors/hood,6&1/2 foot bed located in the SOCAL high desert 45 miles from Palm Springs, A. This auction is only for the red truck. Some pictures show the truck before I put the hood on it. See photo 24, his photo taken when I purchased the redtruck and a white cab behind the red one. Both trucks sat outside for years open to the elements but it only rains a few timesannuallyin thedesert and its normally less than 20% humidity. Some surface rust from the sun. No rust through on the body panels but the driver floorwill need a patch due to sand blowing into the cab, hich then acted like a sponge for rain water. Passenger floor board and battery box are in amazing shape. These models are prone to rust in the bottom passenger front cab/cowl and the redtruck will need a small patch. No rust on the frame other than surface rust. Doors and hood are rust free and came off the white 1956 Ford F350 cab. I have the title in my hand for the red 1956. The red truck comes with following installed: new cab front &rear bushings& bolts. New radiator core support bushings& bolts. Newpassenger side hood hinge& all 4 new hinge bolts. Four new Goodyear tires. There was no front suspension when I bought the red truck (photo 24) so I located one on Craig's list and bolted it on. One of the passenger leaf springs is bent and one is broke. No wood in the bed. No steering box, nbsp;no shocks. The red truck comes with (2) 1970's Jaguar bucket seats, hich aren't bolted in. The red truck has dents on the panels. There are some fatigue cracks on two fenders and a running board, o useable glass in the cab. Gas tank included and heater box in the cab. No engine or trans but it does have the radiator and driveshaft. The front inner fenders will need a patch at the top where they attach to the cowl (came off the white cab). Great potential - I judge the condition of the red truck to be #5 in the Old Cars price guide. PayPal Payment of $500 at the end of the auction and the remainder of the difference of the winning bid in cash when you pick up the red truck 30 days later. I also have the title for the white 1956 F350 cab. Cab is for sale separately $800.00, ontact me. Cab includes gas tank and font end sheet metal pictured in photo 22 and 23but no other parts.
