Description of 1962 Ford E-Series Van 143

I CALL IT A 50 FOOTER. IT LOOKS SUPER AT 50 FT. JUST A WARNING! NOT A SHOW WINNING PAINT OR BODY WORK THING. BODY LINES NOT MATCHING UP, OORS NEED ADJUSTING AND STUFF LIKE THAT. NEEDS FINISHING TOUCHES. OK NOW IM DONE WITH THE DISCLAIMER.
I BOUGHT SOMEONES PROJECT TO MAKE A LITTLE MONEY BY GETTING IT ROAD WORTHY. IT HAS A REBUILT 170 STRAIGHT 6 (CANT GUARANTEE REBUILT, UT IT LOOKS LIKE IT AND RUNS LIKE IT WAS.) 3 SPD ON COLUMN. APPEARS TO BE A FORD 9" REAR END.
THE BAD PARTS: CLUTCH CHATTERS WHEN TAKING OFF, TS FINE AFTER THAT SHIFTS OK AND STUFF. (WARPED FLYWHEEL OR PRESSURE PLATE IM GUESSING. FUEL GUAGE IS NOT CORRECT, RAN OUT! NEW SENDING UNIT IS SUPPLIED. TEMP GUAGE READS HOT, UT IT IS NOT, HAVE INSTALLED A HUGE ALUMN. RADIATOR THAT WILL SUPPORT A S.B. V8. BOTTOMS OUT FRONT END ON ROUGH ROADS, OULD USE NEW RUBBER BUMPERS OR RAISED UP A LITTLE. HEATER IS NOT HOOKED UP. MISSING A FEW DOOR HANDLES AND WINDOWS COULD USE SOME TRACKS, HEY REPLACED WING WINDOW W/FULL GLASS. BATTERY WILL RUN DEAD, HAVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE ALTERNATOR. (IT DOES CHARGE THE BATTERY) I UNHOOK BATT. WHEN DONE DRIVING IT. STEERING COULMN BY THE STEERING WHEEL NEED A BUSHING OR BEARING. (LITTLE WOLBLY). WILL NEED TIRES. ONES ON IT ARE DRY ROTTING.

LIGHTS, LINKERS, OME, ORK

up date I pulled the Trans and surfaced the flywheel and pressure plate. the clutch still chatters when taking off! I did some checking and I guess this is sometimes normal for certain types of clutch disc, ntil they are broke in. I guess 500miles to break in. Ive only put about 20 miles on it.

the amount of people staring and pointing just cracks me up. they love this van.IF YOU ADVERTISED YOUR BUISNESS ON THIS THINGEVERYONE IN TOWN WOULD KNOW WHO YOU WERE!
