Description of 1950 Ford 2 door sedan |
No, t is NOT a police car. I bought this from the original owners in 1969, ith 22,000 miles. I have really enjoyed it, nd had it on several 2 to 5 state tours. I later dolled it up as a constable car, nd it has been a parade favorite. I have recovered the seats, ut you can't tell it. Used exact factory seat material. I also added turn signals and the sunvisor. The tires are nearly full tread, 10/15s. You can make this back to a Saturday night cruiser in less than an hour. The "gumball" is on the roof with magnets. The siren and 'stoplight" are bolted to the finder shield, nside the motor compartment. All the lettering and the white on the doors is vinyl, nd removes easily with a heat gun. Then add the new fender skirts that are in the trunk, nd you are set. The little V8 runs as smooth as they come, lutch, rakes and tranny are good. Nice to drive. I'm 79 and its time to cut back.
