1966 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 V8
Owned for the last 40 years by the Hollywood celebrity actor L.Q. Jones (Justice Ellis McQueen), his special 1966 Mustang Convertible is finished in Midnight Blue with Blue and White Deluxe Pony Interior. It is powered by the 289 V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. It features Factory Ice Cold Air Conditioning, ower Steering, ower Convertible Top and Dual Sport Mirrors. This beautiful Mustang has only 66,000 original miles and has been garaged at his Hollywood home since he purchased it almost 40 years ago. The paint was done years ago but still looks fantastic. The interior and convertible top presents in near new condition. She runs and drives like new. It has been lovingly cared for and is now ready for a new owner. The Mustang has some chips and scratches here and there, ust like the rough and tough actor himself. It is also an original California car and retains the original Black Plates. The original California Pink Slip (Title) signed by L.Q. Jones goes with the car. The engine compartment has been cleaned and detailed and looks very nice. Just wanted to add a few things...

The doors close with an easy touch with no sagging at all. No lifting the doors to close or slamming them to seal.
All the interior lights come on when you open the doors like they should..even the glove box light comes on.
The glass is in excellent condition as well.
Great color combination. The dark blue is a stunning color and is quite appealing.
The early Mustang Convertibles are coming up in value as other types of Pony cars are going down. The average price of a car in this condition is $37k according to NADA Guides and my reserve is much lower than this. This Mustang is well above average for sure! You will not find many Mustang Convertibles in this condition and the ownership history behind this car is a bonus!
A great investment here folks as this car would be in the mid $40's at Barrett Jackson easy.
