1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible

I bought this car and have gone through all the mechanicals over the last 6 months

It is at the stage where you could restore the body, ut a top on it and itwould becomplete restoration.

The lettering is vinyl and we can remove it if the buyer so desires.

We have been driving it around town and using it as an advertising piece for our Auto Parts and Performance store in New Baltimore Michigan

It's a huge Hit especially with the Lettering, lown out convertible Top and Rat Rod/Race Car Look

People ask us all the time if we are going to paint it and the answer is it's done .....why would we paint it?

The other question we get a lot is "where do you run that car at" this one cracks me up

I did look into a top and boot and what I found is around 1000 bucks installed

I also have a couple of repair quarter panels and dog legs that go with the car

I ran the vin and the car appears to have all of the original componentsaccording to what I found

The motor according to the previous owner is rebuilt with new pistons, ings, od bearings, ain bearings, am bearings,oil pump, creen, alve job, t has an edelbrock performer camshaft and lifters that we installed, rad penn oil, ilodon oil pan, ew timing set, lectronic conversion kit for the ignition, ll new tune up parts including cap, otor, acuum advance, lugs and wires. We put a brand New Edelbrock Carb and aluminum Intake manifold on the car. The car has a new radiator and all new hoses and clamps, ntifreeze, nd thermostat.We also put cherry bombs and side exit exhaust on the Hooker Headers that were on the motor when we got it. The car runs Great andtheautomatic 3 speed transmission shifts well. I drove this car all over in the heat of the summer with no issues. The steering column has some slop in it but works.Ifound replacement ones on ebay for about 100 bucks. We also had a brand new driveshaft built for this car by CCI in CascoMichigan.

The entire mechanical side of the carhas been gone through. All of the lights work. The turn signals work. The brake lights work. The convertible top motor works and the top goes up and down as it should.The entire brake system is brand New on all four corners. The Drums have been turned, ew shoes front and rear. New Brake hardware and self adjuster hardware front and rear. New Brake shoes and brake hoses front and rear.New Master cylinder. New Brake lines front to back.The brakes work well. We put new Shocks on the front and sway bar links. It has new tie rod ends. The ball joints and control arm bushings and strut rod bushings appear to be original. The car has a brand new sending unit for the fuel and all new lines from front to back.The transmission has new fluid and filter and vacuum modulator. The car mechanically is sound.

The car shows 83k on the odometer. The interior is black and in good condition. The carpet is new.
