1969 Mustang Convertible Restomod "BOSS 408"

This one of a kind 69 Mustang Convertible Custom was completely disassembled and carefully rebuilt. It has a Stroked 351 V8 to 408 and makes approx. 500HP and a 5 Speed manual. The car is in excellent condition, uns great, ooks great, ith no problems or issues found.

  • All original steel, o replacement floor panels.

  • Entire car was media blasted to bare metal and epoxy primed.

  • Rear bumper was modified extensively to match trunk and quarter panel lines

  • Fiberglass:Shelby side scoops, ustom rear trunk and end caps.

  • Original Ford hood scoop with turn signal indicators and Ford hood locks.

  • 1970 side marker lights front and rear.

  • ABS front spoiler

  • Rear fenders were radiusedto provide clearance for wide rear tires.

  • Three stage paint: Dupont Hot Hues Candy Apple Red with stripes painted under clearcoat.

Frame / Chassis

  • Front Suspension: Total Control complete coil-over system, ith adjustable shocks, nd front swaybar with urethane bushings.

  • Rear Suspension: Fayes Watts link (welded in),Maier racing 4.5 leaf mid eye leaf springs with adjustable shocks.

  • Brakes: Baer Brakes-Track System four wheel discs 13" front 11" rear with SSBC adjustable rear proportioning valve and power brake booster.

  • Chassis: Total Control sub-frame connectors, otal Control Export Brace and Monte Carlo bar to stiffen front suspension towers.

  • Steering: Randalls Rack, ower rack and pinion.

  • Wheels and Tires: Cragarchrome 17" rims with Michelin Pilot Sport tires 285-17 rear 245-17 front.


  • Custom Leather and Suede Interior with contrast french stitching on all panels.

  • Corbeau leather LG-1seats and brackets, omo steering wheel

  • Custom rear seat incorporating a dual sub enclosure.

  • Custom center console with switches and electronics

  • Autometer Phantom gauges installed in custom gauge pod

Engine and Drivetrain

  • 408 Stroker motor, ord 351 sportsman block professionally built and dyno-tuned.

  • Accufab throttle body, ictor Jr heads with extensive porting, nd custom EFI Victor intake manifold.

  • Comp cams roller camshaft, oller rockers and guideplates.

  • Canton extra capacity oil pan.

  • FAST XFI Fuel injection system, SD 6AL ignition, igh output coil and MSD Pro-billet distributer

  • Complete Aeromotivefuel system including fuel pump, re/post fuel filters and fuel regulator with pressure gauge, luminum tube and braided fuel lines with ARP connectors. Custom aluminum EFI tank with sump and return line.

  • Motor has a combination of powder coating and paint to match car exterior.

  • Ford serpentine belt system for Alternator, C, ater pump and power steering.

  • JBA shorty headers wrapped in DEI exhaust wrap and Magnaflow mufflers.

  • Griffin high efficiency aluminum radiator with dual Spal fans andSpalprogressive speed fan controller.

  • Tremec TKO five speed transmission and Cobra R bell housing (painted red), ro 5.0 shifter tower, ord Performance flywheel, cLeod clutch and pressure plate. Modern Driveline custom hydraulic clutch.

  • Completely rebuilt Ford nine inch with limited slip differential and 3.89 gears.
