Description of 1927 Ford Model T model T replica

Mon, /13---Some one asked if I would take a trade. I will take a partial trade for parts for my 34. 50s/60s engine, rans, ear-end,tri power????or tell me what you've got.?

1927 Track T roadster just finished in May 2015,
Speedway body and frame kit.

I built this car using Speedway's Track Tkit using theirchrome front suspension-spring over tube axle and hairpin bars, 7-54 forged spindles with Wilwood 4 piston calipers on mustang vented rotors and Mustang master cylinder.

Rear suspension is quarter elliptical leaf springs, hrometube shocks, pper control arms and pan hard bar mounting a a 62 Chevy 3:31 Posi rear-end using 2014 Mustang disc brake kit with emergency brake.

The cars stops really well with this setup.

Mustang steering column with flaming River manual box.

Body is finished in Metallic Wine red Acrylic Urethane paint. This is the 7th fiberglass car I've built I must say the fiberglass quality of the speedway bodies is quite exceptional compared to some bodies I have used before.

Speedway brown vinyl full upholstery kit fits the body well and really sets off the interior scheme.

I used African Mahogany for the dash and filled it with a full set of Dolphin street rod gauges. I even added a heater for those cool cruising nights.

The engine is a .040 over78 Mustang 2.8 V6 that I rebuilt using all King bearings, ingsand gaskets. I added aComp Cams camshaft and new Holley 600 4barrel carb. The engine runs great and has the mild lumpy cool sound to it unlike the fart can buzz boxes you hear on the street.

The tranny is aMustangC3 automatic transmission with shift kit.

I added a beautiful new set of MBM Old School 5spoke wheels and BFG GForce tires 275-40- 17 and 17x 9.5 on the back with 235-45-17and 17 x 8 for the front. These wheels and tires look great and makes the car corner like a go cart. Of course only weighing in at 1600 lbs wet with a true 50/50 weight bias makes it a really fun car to drive.

The car is titled in Iowa as a 1927 Ford Replica. It passed the Iowa DOT inspection with flying colors so the title will transfer to your state with no problems.

I have receipts for $17000 in purchase parts alone. That $17,000 does not count labor at all. I try to build one car every year just to keep me youthful in my retirement and I don't need to make a lot of profit, just like to recoup my parts costs for my next project. I already ordered my new body for my next build, his one will be and old school 34 ford coupe. Look for me on ebay next year or so for that one. I have set the reserve at my cost price so bid accordingly and lets make a deal.

Call me if you want a bunch moreof fabrication pictures.
