Description of 1980 Ford Model A Shay

1929 Ford Shay Model A Roadster Super Deluxe
These production model Shay's were made for Ford dealerships in 1979 &1980 with Ford running gear. Designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Model A. About 5,000 built with the super deluxe model being one of the rarer models. This one has been under cover since it was new. It has 4 new tires and tubes with an extra set of 4 tubes less than a year old. It has a new battery moved to the firewall from under the floor for convenience. New boot cover and also comes with side curtains. This model has a front heater and a rumble seat heater. Radio with 8-track player. It has all the bells &whistles that come on the super deluxe. It is a good dependable driver. Has allemission controls needed to pass inspection. There are two small scratches on passenger side rear fender that have been touched up. The top has a one and a half inch tear on passenger side back corner near bottom.
