| 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I / Boss 302 Tribute Just completed a 20 month complete ground up build of a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I / Boss 302 badging tribute Mustang. Car has been engineered to be original but resto-moded with a few tasteful upgrades. Mach I has complete delux marti report showing is original Competition Yellow. 351C 4BBL. 4 speed roots. Build all original but has a few upgrades to improve look. functionality including:- complete new American Autowire wiring harness. nbsp;- upgraded electronic instrument cluster. nbsp;- engine bay and bottom of car painted with same nice clear coat base coat Competition Yellow as outside of car. /p>- leather front seats improved wider and more foam bolstering. nbsp;- hidden rear speakers in back deck covered in black euro vinyl (not just cardboard). nbsp;-early model Foxbody Mustang T-5 5 speed transmission with special hydraulic slave and master clutch setup (easy to service). nbsp;-all four corners have been lowered with new CJPony springs. nbsp;-New chrome 15 inch OEM Magnum 500 wheels with new BFG tires staggered setup and much more- Complete new correct 70's date code 351C all new build 11:1 compression. roller rockers. forged pistons etc. likely between 500 and 600 HP. not dynoed after build so just a guessRest of car built back as original with OEM style rear louvers. spoilers. Boss 302 painted hood stripe with OEM Ford Boss 302 decals. OEM style shaker hood setup. new dash. new carpet. headliner. seats. door panels and most all trim and chrome / stainless. Overall very few parts not new or fully reconditioned on vehicleNote if a new owner preferred the original Mach I styling all that would be required is adding rocker moldings and switching decals from Boss 302 to Mach I. So car kind of gives a lot flexibility now and in future. Many resto-mod features from custom engine. new complete modern wiring harness. electronic gauge cluster. stereo etc. Full Marti report showing original 351C. 4BBL. Competition Yellow. Mach I manual 4 speed (now 5 speed car with high performance hydraulic all new clutch setup) - bare metal suspension off repaint to original Competition Yellow clear coat base - Most all 99+ percent all new chrome trim. glass. rubber etc. replaced with new- Correct 351 Cleveland . 4 BBL heads. high HP complete build engine. Estimate 500 HP. domed 11:1 compression forged pistons. Harland Sharp US made high performance custom 351C roller rockers in high performance cylinder heads and 4BBL intake. nbsp; - New custom powder coated headers mated to - new MagnaFlow OEM correct exhaust system for Boss 302 (turn down dual tail pipe tips)- Engine freshly painted clear coat base coat in high temp paint. . . looks awesome . . . looks killer in freshly painted custom engine bay. - Every peripheral and internal of likely 500 HP + engine new from bearings to water pump to timing cover plate to forged pistons. clutch. etc. etc. - All new peripherals on engine (water pump. alternator. wiring harness. timing chain cover. distributor. battery. radiator. fan. etc. all new . all OEM or racing performance parts- Shaker hood scoop setup all new custom fit to 351C setup- New Eddlebrok 750 cfm with electric choke on car but also comes with original Holley double pumper 750 cfm carb rebuilt- American Autowire all new wiring harness with support for modern features such as power door locks. windows. electronic gauges lighting etc. - Leather seats custom built 71 Mustang seats stitched to replicate OEM but bigger. wider more comfortable. very nice- New electronic instrument cluster with full instrumentation. custom lighting- All new interior sound deadening. carpet. headliner. trim. stereo etc. - OEM style screw in rear louvers spoilers front and rear- OEM 302 Boss reflective trim but retains details to Mach I heritage. Best of both. . . could go back to Mach I trim stay as is. your choice- All new 15 inch staggered Magnum 500 wheels with new BFG RWL radials- Tremec T-5 speed manual transmission from fox body era. toughest T5 for racing. New cross member custom to hold new transmission securely- Special hydraulic slave and master clutch system easy to service quick to shift- All new clutch with OEM bell housing- Bottom of car painted in Competition Yellow clear coat base coat to match car- Engine bay custom done in clear coat base coat to give car that pop from stock- Custom speaker enclosures in rear in vinyl coated rear deck for durability and appearance- Custom lowering springs on all four corners with new shocks- All new Harland Sharp roller rockers in high performance 351C heads Call or email for more details. - Have recent appraisal from Shelby American appraisal detailing car happy to share with serious buyers.
