Description of 1973 Ford Mustang

Up for auction is a beautifully highly optioned 1973 Mustang Convertible. While she could be considered recentlyrestored, his was not a frame off restoration. However, hile in paint and body, he panels, ood, oors, nd trunk lid were removed and painted. The engine bay was painted as well.
The engine has not been rebuilt, lthough it has been gone through thoroughly by a local mechanic shop. This baby is an automatic, ith a302 V8 engine, am Air,factory AC, ower steering, ower brakes,new convertible top,new complete paint inside & out,new tires and rims. The car is equipped with everything there for the AC, s the compressor is there and appears to be in good condition. The compressor seems to be disconnected, owever, have not had time to look into it and feel it wouldn't be difficult to hook up and give her a charge.
The paint and body looks fantastic! The car was painted with the"1973 Bright Red" from the correct year of mustangs. I am not sure what the original color was from the factory, owever, he car was a faded yellow when I took ownership of her. As stated above, he car was taken apart andreassembledwhile in paint and body. I would rate the paint a 9 out of 10 only due to a small areato theleft of the trunk lid where there appears to be a small defect from paint(see pictures). Not a huge deal. I would say this shows nicely as a very nice driver, r car show worthy but not concours. I am very picky myself and would be very satisfied with the quality if I were to keep it.The paint job includes under the hood, nside door trims, nd trunk. Also, hile in the paint and body shop, oth front floor pans have been replaced. The RamAir was painted the sleek Mach 1 black which really sets her off with her matching black rims! New emblems were also installed on the car.
Mechanically, he runs great! First thing that was done was a thorough brake job, hich included brake calibers and wheel bearings. The car was taken to a local mechanic where thecarburetor was gone through, leaned and rebuilt. The fuel tank was drained and a fuel sending unit was replaced. A new fuel pump, amp;NEW gas tankwas installed. As well as, tune up was done. Which includes, eplacing the spark plugs, leaned points, ondensor, iming was set, nd the carburetor was tuned. I have receipts for all mechanic work performed. Recent oil change as well. Lights work, ignals, nd top goes up and down smoothly, he shifts with ease. I recently took her out on the freeway, ruising between 80 - 90 mph with NO issues! She is sound and ready for a new home.
Tires and wheels were purchased at Discount Tire, here the paperwork will go with the car. Brand new tires and wheels come with warranty and lifetime balancing and rotation done at Discount Tire. The rims are 15 inch and tires are size 215/65 R15. Tires have a 40,000 mile warranty on them.
Theseats are in decent stock condition, o tears, nd are in presentable shape. The seats have been mended,new carpetwas installed,new dash cap, nd finally abeautifully new power convertibletop! Undercarriage is pretty clean, nd trunk issolid. See pictures.
This gorgeous '73 Convertible Mustang runs great, s dependable, sFUNto drive, porty, n ease to drive, tarts right up with the turn of her key! She turns head like nothing else while driving down the road with her Bright Red Paint. I was going to keep her but due to my circumstances I have to let her go.
