Description of 1934 Ford CoupeOther

Here is one of the coolest '34 Coupes you are ever going to see.....or own. This is a fresh build with less than 300 miles on the odometer.
BODY/INTERIOR
This is a high quality JW Rod Garage '34 glass body that came with a2-1/2" chop. The top was chopped an additional 2" in front and 1" in the rear to give it "the look", t has an aggressive salt/dry lakes stance. After the top was re-chopped, he body was smoothed, ouvers added to the trunk and it was painted House of Kolor Cinnamon Pearl with satin clear from Hot Rod Flatz. The body is straight enough that if you wanted the paint to shine it simply would need to be lightly scuffed and cleared with a gloss clear. The interior is done in competition style with aluminum panels punched with2-1/2" holes to match the aluminum bomber seat from Ulysses Seat Company. Wiring is a 9+3 kit from Rebel Wires. Moon Eye gauges from Classic Instruments keep tabs on engine performance.
Chassis/Suspension
The frame is fully boxed from JW Rod Garage with a tubular X-member and front and rear cross members. Up front is a drilled and 5" dropped Magnum axle with a Posies Super Slide spring and hot rod shorty shocks. The split wishbones have been drilled to match the axle. Front brakes are 4-piston discs from SOCAL with Buick style finned drums and cooling scoops. The 9" rear from John's 9-Inch Factory is suspended with triangulated 4-bars and QA1 adjustable coilover shocks. The rear has drum brakes and also has Buick finned drum covers and 3.55 gears. The wheels are "as cast" Rocket Igniter with Coker Firestone wide whites. Fronts are 5.50/16, ears are 7.50/16.
EngineThe engine is a rebuilt torque monster 425 Nailhead, 30 over with a Clay Smith cam and quality parts throughout. Induction is 6 freshly rebuilt Stromberg 97's sitting on an Offenhauser log manifold, ed by an electric fuel pump. Exhaust is custom built lakes style with heat wrap and cutouts running through the frame exiting at the rear. End caps can be removed if you like LOUD EXHAUST. A Walker radiator with an electric fan keeps the motor cool. The engine is hooked to a switch pitch trans rebuilt to 400 specs with a shift kit. Shifting is handled by a Gennie Shifter with a custom drilled shift handle.
IncidentalsThe gas tank is steel, 6 gallon capacity. The grill shell is fiberglass with an aftermarket insert. Headlights are '32 commercial, aillights are '39 Chevy, oth front and rear have custom drilled mounts. It has bronze tinted glass with power windows. Everything works as it should....gauges, eadlights, aillights, urn signals, ooling fan, tc. It has a clear Wisconsin title.
Opening bid is below build cost and reserve is set at a reasonable level for the quality of the car. Nearly every part of this car is brand new, here are no disappointments here.
