This '62 Ford Galaxie is a cool cruiser and can be driven as-is or is perfect to be taken to the next level. Features:- New front brakes & rotors - incl. brake hardware- Rebuilt power steering pump with new Ram cylinder- New alternator- New pinner white wall tires- New Supreme rims- Shaved door handles- Electric popper in trunk- Ford Thunderbird black bucket seats and rear bench- New carpet and insulation- Mustang style shifter on floor- Box A 63,504 miles Included:- Set of Bellflower pipes I never got around to installing- Shop manual- Fender cover- Monkey fur dash cover (dash underneath has patina that actually looks pretty cool)- Plenty of looks and thumbs-up whenever you drive it Engine:Original 292 y-block with Fordomatic 2-speed auto. I haven't gone through the engine. If I were keeping the car I certainly would, t's old and I like to know what's what with my vehicles.I'm selling to complete my '53 Chevy Truck project, his is the only reason. I'd love to continue on with this car, ower it, inish the interior, tc. but I have to sell.The car runs perfect in decent weather, ut to be honest it didn't like the +110 degree weather in Phoenix too much over the summer. It never overheated on me, ut it did run hotter than I'd prefer. I took it for a spin last night in 90 degree weather and it did fine though. History:I don't know much about the history other than it was more of a "wild" custom, r at least on it's way towards one when I got it. I replaced a lot of the custom parts i.e. front and rear bumpers, runk lid and hood. I'll add a picture of when I bought so you can see why. I have the gas tank cover with the "500" badge on it but it's not installed.
